Drunk Guardiola Locked Man City Stars In The Dressing Room For An Hour, Then This Happened (See Here)

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola reportedly kept his players locked in the dressing room for almost an hour after the final whistle of Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Southampton.

Pep Guardiola has Nigerian hotshot Kelechi Iheanacho to thank for rescuing a point for his Manchester City side against Southampton in the Premier League.

Iheanacho started on the bench as Sergio Aguero led the line for the Citizens. Southampton took the lead in the 27th minute. However, Kelechi Iheanacho came on for the ineffective Kevin De Bruyne and 10 minutes later, the 19-year-old repaid his manager’s faith.

However, The Sun reports Guardiola hits the roof after his side could only manage the draw. The source stresses Guardiola is said to be furious with his squad and emerged with a “face like thunder”, according to journalists waiting for the Spaniard to give his post match interviews.

According to the rumours, he stayed in the dressing room with his players for around 50 minutes before emerging to speak to the media.

Goal reports when questioned why he spent so long with his charges after the game, Guardiola disclosed: “The red wine was good and I took a little bit longer”.

Speaking about the game, the former Barcelona manager noted: “You can win ten times and then you are not able to win five times. I have to discover the reason why and I am going to find that. We are going to accept the situation. We are together. We spoke about the situation we have. We try to go up.”

The EPL side now face a fine for failing to put up their players to the Premier League’s TV rights holders within 45 minutes of the game finishing.
