Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe has committed a costly mistake on social media following Sunderland’s defeat to West Ham on Saturday.
Anichebe who joined Sunderland as a free agent in the summer after the arrival of David Moyes at the Stadium of Light. But the Blacks cats have started the current Premier League in poor form which continued on Saturday as West ham United scored a late-winner to condemn Moyes’s men to yet another defeat.
In the wake of the disappointing result, Anichebe who obviously is not in control of his social media account, made a costly mistake when he wrote: ‘Can you tweet something like Unbelievable support yesterday and great effort by the lads! Hard result to take! But we go again!”
Prior to this, there was a mix-up between IIkay Gundogan and Mesut Ozil’s social media accounts during pre-season but the surprising fact has to be that Anichebe is a fluent speaker who have had plenty of time off the pitch to write his tweet himself, as he even played no part in Sunderland’s late game.
