One of the governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, Moyosola Niran-Oladunni has said that those with questionable character were uncomfortable with the ongoing war against corruption being championed by the current government.
He made the remark while speaking with newsmen at the 6th anniversary of Trinity House, led by popular cleric, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo.
Asked if Ondo State people would vote APC in the November governorship election, Niran-Oladunni said, “Nigerians are happy; majority of the citizens are optimistic that things will ultimately turn around for the better.
“It is the corrupt people that are complaining; it is the corrupt people that are not comfortable with the policies and actions of this government. It is people that have skeletons in their cupboard that have been complaining”.
The gubernatorial hopeful, further stated that: “We will make Ondo State a city state that will thrive on the provision of basic infrastructure, particularly in rural communities.
“We will not make promises that we will not keep. One thing that has been going for us is our credibility and even our opponents cannot deny the credibility of our candidacy. Our overriding passion is to turn Ondo into a state that people will constantly visit for business and tourism. This is achievable and we are determined to do it.”
