The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has waved aside reports by Fani-Kayode’s media aide, Jude Ndukwe, that his principal, Chief Femi Fani- Kayode slumped yesterday at the agency’s premises.
According to Fani-Kayode’s media aide, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain slumped at the EFCC premises on Monday.
Reacting to the report, the EFCC through its spokesman, Wilson Uwajaren, dismissed the claim, saying there was no truth whatsoever to it.
Uwajaren said in a brief statement, “There is no truth whatsoever in the dubious and attention-seeking alarm that Fani-Kayode slumped and was revived by EFCC medical personnel.
“There was nothing like that as the said Fani-Kayode and Obanikoro sat together and enjoyed their jokes at the first round of checks of inmates in EFCC custody on Monday night.”
